As an AI Engineer, youare passionate about working with modern software engineering practices, Agentic AI, and GenAIand ready todrive the development and scaling of distributed agentic AI solutions, from concept to production. In this newly set-up team, you will work closely with data scientists and product owners, to buildmulti‑agentframeworksand to orchestrate interactions between agents. Your work will ensure robust, scalable AI capabilities that are integrated within the bank to deliverreal businessimpact.

About the Team

You will join a growing, cross-functional analytics and engineering environment where collaboration, learning, and technical excellence are core. The team works closely with data scientists, product owners, and business partners to deliver AI-driven solutions that are embedded into critical banking processes. As a Principal Engineer, you will actively mentor and guide engineers within the team, helping raise engineering standards and best practices. You will work closely with Product Owners inproduct‑relateddiscussions, contributing to solution design, planning, and prioritization to ensure technical decisions support business outcomes andlong‑termsustainability.

You bringprincipal‑levelengineering seniority and feel comfortable operating across technology, product, and business domains. You combine strong technical depth with leadership and communication skills. You recognize yourself in the following:

• Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics

• Pro‑activemindsetand a natural tendency to guide, mentor, and influence other engineers

• Confidence to create, challenge, and spar on plans, architecture, and technical direction

• Strong business mindset, able to communicate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical problems

• Strong Python programmingproficiencyand solid software engineering foundation

• Hands‑onexperience with LLMs(e.g.Gemini, Claude), RAG architectures, and vector databases

• Experience designing and running production‑gradeML systems, including monitoring and observability

• Strong experience with cloudplatforms,preferablyGCP, orvery strongexperience on another major cloud provider

• Experience designing systems using cloud‑basedmanaged services

• Practical knowledge of microservices architectures, REST /gRPCAPIs, and async programming models

• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code(e.g.Terraform)

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices

• Hands‑onexperience with agentic AI frameworks(ADK,LangChain,LangGraph,CrewAI) and multi‑agentworkflows(strong plus)

• Strong engineering discipline around version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews

• Comfortable working closely with data scientists, data analysts, product owners, and SMEsin newlyset‑upor evolving teams

• Able to bridge business intent and engineering execution to deliver scalable,production‑readyAI solutions

• Affinity with traditional ML model training and testing

• Basic understanding of Java / Kotlinfor connectivity with internal systems

• Experience with Kubernetesand container management platforms such as OpenShift

• Experience developing andmaintaininghigh‑loadAPIs, including OpenAPIintegration and governance

• Basic networking knowledge

• Familiarity with event‑drivenarchitectures

• Contributions to open‑sourceprojectsare considered an advantage
