
At Dyson, Teamcenter is the authoritative system of record for product definition, configuration management, engineering change, release governance and lifecycle traceability. As Dyson continues its PLM transformation journey, Teamcenter is evolving beyond a traditional PDM platform into the foundation of Dyson's digital thread and engineering lifecycle governance capability.
The Principal/Associate Principal Engineer – PLM (Teamcenter) Business Product Owner is responsible for defining, governing and continuously enhancing Teamcenter and associated PLM capabilities to support Dyson's product development objectives. Acting as the primary business owner for Teamcenter on behalf of Product Development, the role works closely with Engineering, RDD IT, process owners and business stakeholders to ensure PLM capabilities deliver measurable business value.
The role owns the business capability view of PLM, ensuring process, data, governance and platform evolution remain aligned across Product Development. It serves as the critical bridge between business process ownership and technology delivery, ensuring Teamcenter capabilities, processes and data structures remain aligned to Dyson's engineering operating model and future product lifecycle management strategy.
