ABOUT THE POSITION

At Columbia Sportswear, our Digital Technology (CDT) team plays a critical role in enabling global operations through robust, scalable systems.

As a Winshuttle (Precisely) Engineer, you will be responsible for enabling SAP data automation and governance through the Winshuttle/Precisely platform. Based in our India Global Capability Center, this role partners closely with global business users, SAP functional teams, and IT operations to design, support, and evolve automation solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and control across SAP processes.

This role blends technical execution, end-user enablement, and operational ownership, with a strong emphasis on standards, data quality, and collaboration.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE n needed

  • Partner with business users and stakeholders to design and build new Winshuttle/Precisely scripts and workflows
  • Train end users on the Winshuttle/Precisely tool, including best practices for script execution and data handling
  • Provide end-user support and guidance on proper use of scripts, templates, and Winshuttle/Precisely procedures
  • Troubleshoot issues related to script execution or design, performing root cause analysis and recommending solutions
  • Maintain and enhance scripting logic as business requirements evolve
  • Evaluate the tool for new or underutilized capabilities that could provide additional business value
  • Manage the Winshuttle/Precisely script library, ensuring version control, documentation, and reuse
  • Propose, implement, and enforce standards and change management practices related to data governance, data quality, and automation best practices
  • Support Winshuttle/Precisely upgrades in partnership with SAP BASIS and other technology teams
  • Maintain an active relationship with the vendor (Precisely), advocating for enhancements and coordinating support when needed
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate UAT with business partners
  • Monitor, track, and resolve service desk tickets related to Winshuttle/Precisely usage
  • Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams to support process changes, enhancements, and new implementations

YOU ARE

  • Solid understanding of SAP data structures, including tables and transaction codes
  • Hands-on experience creating, modifying, optimizing, and troubleshooting Winshuttle/Precisely scripts
    • Winshuttle/Precisely Studio (script creation, queries, workflows)
    • Winshuttle/Precisely Evolve (script execution, workflow management)
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written English)
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with business stakeholders
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and data quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within required timelines
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with business teams, SAP functional teams, and IT operations

YOU HAVE

  • Experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments ( ECC or S/4HANA)
  • Basic scripting experience (e.g., VBScript, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence (Atlassian tools)
