WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Value Management and Advisory Consultant at SimCorp provides expert guidance to clients on how to leverage SimCorp’s solutions to achieve strategic business outcomes. With typically deep experience in value advisory, consulting, or a related field, this role focuses on delivering qualified and validated insights and tailored solution proposals that drive business transformation. The Value Management and Advisory Consultant works closely with clients, account managers (CSMs), sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure that SimCorp’s solutions are positioned and implemented in a way that maximizes value, efficiency, and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead advisory engagements with clients, helping them define their businessobjectivesand aligningSimCorp’ssolutions to drive value.

  • Providestrategic guidance on theselection, implementation, and optimization ofSimCorp’ssolutions to address complex client needs.

  • Develop and present business cases, ROI models, and value assessments todemonstratethe impact ofSimCorp’ssolutions on client business performance.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with business goals and strategic priorities.

  • Collaborate with sales teams toidentifyopportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while ensuring that solutions are tailored to client requirements.

  • Provide guidance and best practices to clients during the solution implementation process, ensuring smooth adoption and maximizing value from the product.

  • Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions with clients and internal teams to driveunderstandingofSimCorp’ssolutions and industry best practices.

  • Continuously engage with clients to assess ongoing needs and opportunities for further optimization or expansion of SimCorp solutions.

  • Work withsolution architects to influence product roadmaps and bring forward client feedback.

  • Mentor and support junior consultants, sharingexpertiseand developing their capabilities within the Value Advisory team.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Deep knowledgeof the investment management value-chain on the buy-side
  • Current knowledge of industry business trends and technology trendsand preference to work high-level with clients on architecture and strategy
  • Preferably experience in sales or sales support working for one of the largest investment management solutions vendors such as SimCorp, Murex, Blackrock, or Charles River
  • Foundational understanding ofdata management practices
  • Foundational understanding of security types
  • Willingness to travel asrequired
  • Flexibility to attend SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy
