Cadence Molecular Sciences has developed a cutting-edge, first-in-class cloud-native platform for molecular design, cheminformatics and data management (“Orion”). Everyone, from top twenty pharmaceutical companies to emerging biotechnology startups use Orion to accelerate the pace of discovery in the areas of new therapeutics and molecular materials.
Requirements:
We are looking for an outstanding UX/UI designer to lead the design of the Orion platform. You will apply user-experience research and design methodologies to catalyze the development of the platform for molecular design. You will partner with product, UI engineering, drug-discovery science, marketing and senior leadership to oversee the user experience of therapeutic design.
In your role, you will work with Ph.D. drug-discovery scientists and commercial teams, as well as conduct user research and synthesize the many voices into a unified and strategic roadmap to guide our design. You will develop sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and working prototypes and iteratively refine solutions as designs are implemented to deliver creative, consistent and practical solutions. You will provide advocacy for human-centered design.

The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $117,600 to $218,400. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
