Job Description

As a Senior Principal Oracle HCM Functional Consultant, you will act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. This role requires deep functional expertise across HCM processes and modules, combined with strong consulting skills to lead solution design, implementation, support, and optimization efforts for complex HR digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes, drive adoption of best practices, and ensure robust system performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex Oracle HCM implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
  • Drive end-to-end HCM solutioning across core HR and talent processes including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting
  • Perform fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, business process mapping, and functional solution design aligned with Oracle HCM best practices.
  • Provide expert functional support for critical HCM issues, root cause analysis, and escalations.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams on integrations (HDL/HSDL, APIs), data migration, reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher), and custom enhancements.
  • Support and guide HCM upgrades or quarterly releases, ensuring compliance with local HR regulations and best practices.
  • Engage senior stakeholders to define HR technology roadmaps, optimization strategies, and future-state architectures.
  • Mentor and lead team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and practice development initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience Core Oracle HCM Expertise

  • Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience in Oracle HCM implementations, support, or consulting.
  • Proven experience across key HCM areas such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, Talent Management, Recruiting/ORC, Performance & Compensation
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, HR data structures, security model, and regulatory/localization requirements.
