As a Principal System Application Engineer on our Marketing team, you'll work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building longlasting partnerships that thrive on success.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Provide inclusive pre-sales technical support at the application level to accelerate design-in activities
  • Own the Application Marketing technical feedback loop from the field back into the organization, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed with up-to-date information on customer developments, strengths and weaknesses of our offering
  • Collaborate with the System Architect and across the organization as necessary to define and develop innovative system-level demos, reference designs, PoCs, MVPs that optimize for Infineon product content
  • Develop and deliver technical marketing content for Consumer Wearables solutions related to product launches, trade shows, and regional team training or digital marketing campaigns
  • Track industry technical trends and developments, including emerging technologies and competitor activities, to stay ahead of the market
  • Occasionally travel (domestically and internationally) to Infineon global sites, customer and partner locations and relevant industry events and trade sh

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in the MPU/MCU and Wi-Fi/BLE technical domains, preferably focused on Consumer or IoT applications
  • Significant knowledge in mixed-signal and analog systems is highly desirable
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative technical solutions to complex problems, with a focus on system approach
  • Proven track record in customer-facing roles and the ability to distill complex system-level information into functional block-level requirements
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols and standards such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is a plus
  • Master's/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent) preferred

Salary pay information:

US$184,880 – US$ 254,210

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.Austin, United StatesWage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

US$158,240 – US$ 217,580
