Job Description

WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced Principal Stakeholder Architect to lead architectural stakeholder management and coordination across major infrastructure, aviation, transport, and mixed-use development projects in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will act as the primary architectural interface between clients, authorities, operators, design teams, contractors, and key project stakeholders, ensuring alignment between stakeholder requirements, design intent, and project delivery objectives.

  • Liaise with all Stakeholders, Authorities, Consultants and Contractors on all project related documents such as NOCs, Permits, Approvals on design and construction related, handover requirements and handover work.
  • Preparation of reports, manuals and guideline documents pertaining to specific handover and stakeholder issues as required by the client.
  • Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary for all types of projects, keep track and record all required actions from all Stakeholders and follow up on the progress as required.
  • Liaise with Key Stakeholders and Authorities to ensure a smooth handover of assets on completion of works.
  • Provide handover and stakeholders input to weekly / monthly reports.
  • Inform the Team Leader of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
  • Provide all necessary on-site direction and work with PMC to team to complete the handover tasks.
  • Check and measure the performed work in his/her line of work, record and help the Team Leader to display progress vs programmed work.
  • Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘As-Built’ drawings, O&M manuals and all related authority’s checklists and documents.
  • Lead and mentor the KSA AOR team while supporting strategic work-winning efforts, strengthening client relationships, and securing new project opportunities.
  • Mange resourcing and project deliverables across multiple projects in KSA and coordinate with other WSP offices to deliver compliant, high-quality, and commercially successful projects.
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture, or a relevant field of study.
  • 12+ years of experience in Stakeholder positions on similar construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • A deep understanding of the required governmental processes to attain NOC, permits and authority approval across various regions in KSA.
