Azure Administrator

We are looking for a hands-on Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator to manage and secure our hybrid cloud environment. In this role, you will take ownership of our Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and on-premises Active Directory infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless synchronization, securing user identities, and resolving security findings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage Identity Infrastructure: Oversee Azure AD Connect, ensuring reliable password synchronization and seamless identity management between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform Daily IAM Operations: Handle day-to-day identity and access management tasks within Microsoft Entra ID.
• Secure Access: Implement, test, and manage Conditional Access policies and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
• Monitor & Remediate Security: Actively review Azure security findings, identify vulnerabilities, and perform the necessary remediations to keep the tenant secure.
• Support Cloud Migrations: Assist with Azure tenant migrations and handle custom domain management.
• Maintain Core Infrastructure: Administer Windows Active Directory and DNS, applying basic network knowledge to troubleshoot identity and connectivity issues.
• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) for secure and efficient performance.
• Support Azure Networking: Manage basic Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
• Maintain Network Security: Monitor and manage Azure Firewalls to control traffic and protect cloud resources from unauthorized access.

YOUR PROFILE

Core Identity & Access Management:

• Proven experience min 5-8 years as an Azure AD Connect Administrator or similar Cloud IAM role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
• Solid foundation in managing on-premises Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra Connect (syncing, filtering, and troubleshooting).
• Experience managing Enterprise Applications, App Registrations, and Enterprise Consent.
• Understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central Global Administration, including environment management and app updates is a pre.

Automation & Scripting:

• Strong PowerShell scripting skills (especially Microsoft Graph PowerShell and Az modules) to automate routine IAM tasks, generate custom reports, and execute bulk identity operations.

Security, Governance & Migrations:

• Experience analyzing and remediating Azure security findings and identity risks (Entra ID Protection).
• Experience configuring and managing identity governance features, specifically Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Access Reviews.
• Hands-on experience with Azure tenant migrations, tenant-to-tenant collaboration (B2B), and custom domain management.
• Proven track record of migrating identities, workloads, and applications from on-premises environments to the Cloud.
• Solid understanding of maturing application integrations and infrastructure deployments within secure cloud environments.

Certifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) is strongly preferred.
• Additional relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) are a significant plus.

Infrastructure & Cross-Platform (Bonus / Nice-to-Have):

• Basic understanding of core networking principles (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) is a strong plus.
• Basic knowledge of AWS environments and cross-cloud identity federation is a strong plus.

Professional Skills:

• You are a self-starter who works well independently, but also thrives as part of a collaborative, global team to deliver results.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex identity synchronization or authentication issues.
