About the Role

We are looking for a senior, client-facing Solutions Architect to help build and support our Software Services practice.

This role will serve as the technical counterpart to our sales organization, helping turn client needs into practical software solutions, delivery plans, and engineering engagements.

The ideal candidate combines strong software architecture and engineering experience with consulting and pre-sales capabilities. This person should be comfortable joining client conversations, asking the right technical questions, designing solutions, estimating delivery requirements, and helping clients understand how we can solve their problems.

This is not purely an internal engineering role. The position sits at the intersection of sales, architecture, consulting, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand client business problems, technical environments, and project requirements.
• Design software architectures and recommend appropriate technologies and delivery approaches.
• Translate requirements into proposed solutions, technical scopes, team structures, and project plans.
• Support Sales during pre-sales conversations, proposals, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Help estimate project complexity, timelines, resource requirements, and technical risk.
• Participate in client presentations and explain proposed solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate whether new opportunities align with the company's engineering capabilities.
• Work with engineering and recruiting teams to identify the technical talent required for specific engagements.
• Provide technical guidance during the transition from sales into delivery.
• Help establish reusable technical capabilities, delivery standards, and solution patterns for the Software Services practice.
• Identify capability gaps and recommend where the company should hire, train, or partner.

Support the development of new service offerings based on client demand and market opportunities.

Location & Market Focus

• Open to candidates based in The U.S & LATAM.
• This role will primarily support U.S.-based clients and opportunities.
• Must have experience working directly with U.S. clients in consulting, architecture, engineering, pre-sales, or professional services environments.
• Strong understanding of client-facing expectations within the U.S. technology services market.
• Must be comfortable leading discovery sessions, technical presentations, and solutioning conversations with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Must be able to work across U.S. business hours as needed for client meetings and project support.

Requirements

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, consulting, or related technology roles.
• Strong software architecture and solution design experience.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise software applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern application development, APIs, integrations, cloud environments, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience participating in client discovery, consulting, or pre-sales activities.
• Ability to turn loosely defined business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience estimating technical projects and determining appropriate team structures.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

Highly Preferred

• Experience within a systems integrator, software consultancy, digital engineering firm, or professional services organization.
• Experience working directly alongside sales or business development teams.
• Experience designing solutions for project-based consulting engagements.
• Experience supporting proposals, statements of work, technical presentations, or RFP responses.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with globally distributed engineering teams.
• Experience helping build or scale a technical services practice.

This person should make the Sales team stronger by bringing technical credibility into the sales process, while also ensuring that what we sell can realistically be delivered.

The ideal candidate can hear a client's problem, determine what should be built, explain how it should be built, identify what resources are needed, and help move the opportunity from early conversation into a well-defined engagement.
