This position will play a key role in Fidelity’s growing Stock Plan Services organization. You will be part of a team of technologists dedicated to building and advancing Automation, Continuous Integration, and Test Data Management ecosystems. This role requires extensive collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology organizations throughout the full project lifecycle. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead quality engineering efforts for a multi-year modernization initiative while establishing the standards, frameworks, and best practices that guide the broader Quality Engineering organization. Stock Plan Services administers equity compensation programs for both public and private companies, supporting a wide range of offerings including Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPPs), Restricted Stock Awards and Units (RSAs/RSUs), Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights (SARs), and Performance-Based Awards. To support business growth and drive technological innovation, we are expanding our capabilities and modernizing our platforms to deliver scalable solutions, enhance customer experience, and meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
