
Builds and deploys REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Java and Spring boot. Delivers software using the latest web technologies and frameworks, including JavaScript, Angular, VC++, and Microsoft Foundational Classes (MFC). Develops RESTful application webservices corresponding to each functional domain using Java, J2EE, and Spring. Builds automation pipelines according to DevOps concepts and using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools (Maven, Jenkins, and Stash). Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing highly performant and resilient applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.Js, .Net, Oracle database, Mongo DB, and SQL Server database in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing highly performant and resilient applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node,Js, .Net, Oracle database, Mongo DB, and SQL Server database in a financial services environment.
