
Builds and deploys cloud enabled applications using 12-factor design. Builds and deploys applications using Continuous Integration pipelines and automated deployment tools (Jenkins). Utilizes Angular for front-end development and integrates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), and SQL and stored procedures. Leverages Spring, REST/Web Services, Maven, TypeScript, XMA, Apache Tomcat, Swagger, and Message Queue to build scalable, resilient, Cloud-based systems. Develops or directs software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Develop automation and workflow solutions using Microsoft power platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining Web applications, using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular in a capital markets environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining Web applications, using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular in a capital markets environment.
