
Develops innovative software solutions by applying Software Engineering Architecture and Object-Oriented Design Patterns to meet the functional, performance, scalability and reliability requirements. Crafts and develops Java/Spring Frameworks. Generates code using Structured Query Language (SQL) and object relational mapping tools including Hibernate. Designs, develops, and implements MVC frameworks using JavaScript and Angular design patterns. Develops web applications using Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets and Sassy Cascading Style Sheets (SASS/SCSS), including developing web applications for accessibility. Designs interactive front-end applications using Docker, NgRx, and RxJS. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining Web and mobile applications in a financial environment, using Angular, Ionic, JavaScript and NGRX.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining Web and mobile applications in a financial environment, using Angular, Ionic, JavaScript and NGRX.
