Job Description

Fidelity Investments Workplace Solutions (WS) organization is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help support our Data and Reporting platform to support equity compensation products for the Global markets. This person will play a key role in supporting, testing, and releasing product features in Agile delivery fashion.

The Team

You will be part of a support squad in the technology team in Stock Plan Services business unit that coordinates equity compensation programs on behalf of public and private companies offering various compensations programs such as: Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights and Performance based Awards. Currently SPS services participants employed by over 900 clients and spread out in 150 countries. The business is looking to further expand in the international equity compensation markets. As part of that we are modernizing our legacy reporting and business intelligence platform to provide data and reports in real-time running on cloud-ready stack, and are looking for support engineers to help provide best-of-class support and maintenance to our clients.

The Required Expertise You Bring

· 5 plus years of recent hands-on experience with Informatica ETL data integration and data movement design and support

· 5 plus years of recent hands-on PL/SQL experience, and proven understanding of Relational Databases (Oracle Exadata 12c)

· 5 plus years of recent hands-on development and support of OBIEE Reports

· Heavy focus on automation of manually-intensive processes to improve efficiency

· Proven problem-solving abilities

Desired Value-Add Skills

· Experience with cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions with Redshift, Snowflake, etc

· Experience in Oracle Analytics Server report development and support

· Experience in SnapLogic workflow development and support

· Understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts like CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins

· Hands-on experience in Python, and ability to code in more than one programming language

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
