Ally’s model hosting Platform team is looking for an experienced software engineer to design, build and contribute to our AI/ML model hosting platform that enables modeling teams across the organization to host their AI/ML models as APIs in easy, self-serve, safe and performant way. We aim to operate like a startup in an enterprise environment, moving quickly and iteratively working with our partners to get to the best solution. This role is focused on end-to-end Cloud Native Application Development with Python. Proven expertise in developing secure and robust software applications, organizational leadership, collaboration and communication skill is required.

oWork closely with technical and business partners to understand and translate technical requirements into technical specifications for delivering new features and capabilities

oDesign and implement clean, quality, and testable applications that supports rapid delivery

oDeploy cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as code, as well as build/maintain CI/CD pipelines making updates as required.

oFind creative and innovative approaches to complex problems while working, learning, and collaborating in a cross-functional agile team.

oBe passionate and continue to advance software craftsmanship within Ally

oSize/estimate user stories/tasks and assist in the development of a continuous release strategy.

oContribute to technical documentation and specifications, as required.

oContribute/ lead code reviews.

• At least 5+ years of experience in Python programming including application service development.
• Ability to design and build serverless and stateful systems on AWS, that are scalable and highly available.
• At least 5 years of AWS experience with a variety of services, in priority order but not limited to:
• Lambda, ECS, S3, Dynamo DB, API gateway, Step Functions, SQS, IAM, Security Groups.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with snowflake
• Experience with microservice development patterns.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience/ Working knowledge configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control like GitLab
• AI/ML experience/certification is a plus.
• Experience with Apigee is a plus.
