• Maximum Hours: 7.5 hours per day

Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Service, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, include but are not limited to:

• Custom portal development with UI Builder or React framework ensuring secure integration with ServiceNow APIs and government data models.
• Perform advanced customisations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows custom tables and reports.
• Integration and ServiceNow scripting (Glide, Java Script, Ajax, XML, JSON, HTML and CSS).
• Advanced workflow development and customisation.
• Advanced Playbook development.
• Advanced CSM development and customisation.
• Escalation of issues and risks within team structure.
• Respond to reported problems, performing fault diagnosis, analysis and rectification tasks.
• Provide or assist in the analysis of enhancements as requested by business areas.
• Support, design, configure, test and implement ServiceNow functions and methods.
• Assist in the development and documentation of technical design standards and work within those standards.
• Develop or assist in the development of test plans and user documentation.
• Record and maintain files/information in accordance with AFP requirements.
• Work in an Agile team environment and with a variety of stakeholders.

• Maintains currency in information technology processes and technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Establishes and maintains effective business relationships and professional networks.
• Contributes to and implements improved ICT practices and procedures.

Technical Skills

The role requires contemporary knowledge and a high level of experience in ServiceNow development, including components such as CMS, and UI Builder.

2. Ability to deliver The extent to which the potential supplier demonstrates its capability and capacity to provide the requirements.
3. Whole of life costs The whole of life costs for the AFP. Evaluation includes the quoted price and any costs the AFP will incur after accepting the potential supplier's response.

Additional Requirements

1. Interviews and reference checks will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. For each candidate, provide the contact details for 2 professional referees (referee name, contact number and email).
2. Subcontractor arrangements are not permitted as part of this RFQ. Sellers must please ensure compliance with this requirement before submitting candidates.
