Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a principal hands-on technical authority for application security, providing deep expertise across modern application security controls at enterprise scale.
  • Design, develop and deliver application security solutions spanning static application security testing, software composition analysis, secrets management, container security and software supply-chain security.
  • Own, operate and maintain application security platforms and services, ensuring they are compliant, effective, resilient and highly available to the developer community.
  • Lead the continuous improvement and operational management of application security tooling, ensuring scalability, sustainability and fitness for use across Group development platforms.
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to integrate application security controls into developer workflows, enabling automated and repeatable security outcomes.

  • Experience in application security, including secure software development practices and vulnerability management
  • Background in security solution engineering and solution design within complex environments
  • Strong software development experience, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams
  • Exposure to or interest in AI and agentic development capabilities
  • Demonstrated service ownership, including accountability for outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and direction
  • Strong technical communication skills, able to translate complex concepts for varied audiences
