Principal Safety Scientist - Must have strong pharmacovigilence experience - Bulgaria or Poland

As a Principal Safety Scientist at ICON, you will be responsible for leading safety assessments and pharmacovigilance activities to ensure the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products.

What You Will Do:

Your focus will be on coordinating scientific operations delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading safety assessments for clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance, evaluating data to identify safety signals and trends.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management plans and safety monitoring strategies.
• Providing expert guidance on regulatory submissions related to safety and pharmacovigilance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Mentoring and training junior safety scientists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Staying current with industry trends and regulatory guidelines to enhance safety evaluation processes and methodologies.

Your Profile:

You will have solid scientific operations experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
• Extensive experience in safety assessment and pharmacovigilance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze complex safety data and make informed decisions based on scientific evidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all safety-related activities.
