Wood has an opportunity for a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer who has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies, FEED and EPCM phase related to LNG projects.

- Monitor the overall execution of Rotating/Package Equipment work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards
- Ensure High Quality of work is being carried out by all team members within the established/assigned man-hour budgets and schedule targets.
- Disseminate the relevant project information among the assigned team members and ensure that adequate information is available at any stage of work.
- Perform activities such as – issue of Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations as per relevant Technical Practices.
- Review and approve all Critical Material Requisitions prepared by the team members.
- Monitor all Technical Bid Evaluations prepared by the team members.
- Ensure Vendor Drawings and Documentation are being reviewed by all team members to ensure requisition compliance.
- Ensure the Ethics of Confidentiality on technologies licensed by Client or Third Party is being followed by all team members.
- Provide timely inputs to other discipline engineering work.
- Ensure Timely Issue of Deliverables.
- Update progress report for the activities performed within reporting timeline
- Carry out Proper Closeout of all projects related work.
- Attend Project and Vendor co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings.
- Lead medium to large scale projects
- Train & Mentor fresh engineers and junior engineers
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of experience in LNG as well as Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical projects
- Worked as Lead Engineer for at least one LNG project.
- Working knowledge of Rotating equipment & Packages (BOG Compressor, Cryogenic Pumps, Loading Arms, Water Bath Heater, Odorization Package, etc) related to LNG projects
- Knowledge of relevant International Codes and Standards. Familiarity with major Oil & Gas Company specifications.
- Brownfield/Revamp project experience
- Able to lead, motivate and guide junior staff
- Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & strong oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive
- A team player and able to work under pressure
