Job Description

With strong demand in the residential construction sector across WA, Brunel is looking to appoint a Principal Consultant to lead our recruitment efforts across white-collar residential construction roles.

You’ll work across a client base of high-end builders, boutique developers, and volume builders, with a focus on mid- to senior-level appointments across project and site delivery, commercial support, and leadership functions.

This is a 360 role where you will be responsible for both delivery and business development. You’ll be backed by a supportive national team and a global brand, but given the autonomy to grow your desk as if it were your own business.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end recruitment for roles such as Project Managers, Site Managers, Estimators, Contract Administrators, Construction Managers, and Leadership
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with builders and developers
• Build strong, consultative relationships with existing clients and candidates
• Maintain accurate reporting, pipelines, and job flow within internal systems
• Collaborate with national consultants to maximise cross-sector opportunities

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a 360 recruitment role, ideally in construction or technical verticals
• A strong understanding of the residential construction market (white-collar focus)
• Confidence in business development, with a track record of securing and growing client accounts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A motivated, structured, and commercially driven approach
