Job Description
Shape how Quote-to-Cash works at scale. As a Principal Quote to Cash Process Analyst, you will lead the redesign and continuous improvement of complex processes across the global Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. Embedded within Billing Operations, you will initially focus on billing and accounts receivable while partnering across Order Management, Collections, Accounting, Revenue, IT, and other Q2C functions. You will be responsible for identifying root causes, simplifying workflows, strengthening controls, and designing scalable future-state processes. We are seeking applicants with deep process expertise, strong systems thinking, and the ability to influence and drive change across functions.
What you will be doing
- Lead end-to-end analysis and redesign of complex Quote-to-Cash processes, identifying workflow gaps, unnecessary handoffs, rework, control weaknesses, and opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer outcomes.
- Partner with Billing, Collections, Accounting, Revenue, Order Management, and upstream Q2C teams to address root causes, strengthen handoffs, and improve billing accuracy, disputes, aging, accounts receivable health, and financial close.
- Reengineer billing audit, validation, and comparison processes to strengthen controls, improve accuracy, and reduce unnecessary operational effort.
- Design scalable future-state processes, workflows, controls, operating procedures, and governance that support transformation initiatives and ongoing operational excellence.
- Lead structured root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and complex escalations, translating findings into corrective and preventive actions that address underlying process and system gaps.
- Collaborate with IT, PMO, Product, and business stakeholders to translate process requirements into system and automation solutions, validate future-state designs, and support implementation and adoption.
- Establish repeatable continuous improvement practices, process documentation, and change-management approaches that build operational capability and sustain improvements over time.
What you will likely bring
- 8+ years’ experience in process engineering, business process improvement, Quote-to-Cash, operations transformation, finance operations, or related disciplines, including 3+ years’ specialized experience leading complex cross-functional process redesign or transformation initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of process engineering and continuous improvement methods, including process mapping, workflow optimization, root-cause analysis, capacity analysis, control design, and future-state process development.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, disputes, order management, revenue, and the financial and operational dependencies among them.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex processes, challenge established ways of working, distinguish process issues from system issues, and develop practical, scalable solutions.
- Strong change leadership, facilitation, and cross-functional influence skills, with the ability to align operational, financial, and technical stakeholders without direct authority.
What could set you apart
- Experience partnering on ERP, Salesforce, CPQ, subscription billing, workflow automation, or other enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, or comparable process-improvement methodologies, along with experience in SaaS, technology, or complex global operations.
- Bachelor of Science degree, Bachelor of Business Administration degree, or another bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
