The Principal Project Officer is a designed to strengthen strategic oversight and operational excellence across project delivery in the Reform and Innovation branch.
This position would suit an experienced senior leader, with a strong background in co-ordinating multidisciplinary teams, driving organisational performance, and delivering complex programs of work. The role provides strategic leadership across business operations, with responsibility for financial performance, project governance, risk management, and project support functions.
Through effective people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, the Principal Project Officer ensures the coordination of resources, operational processes, and organisational priorities to support key programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will be responsible for fostering a high-performing culture, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong governance frameworks. This role would suit someone looking to contribute to the achievement of both strategic objectives and day-to-day operational outcomes across project delivery in the branch.
