Want to define how Physical AI applications run on Arm-based silicon?

We seek a Principal Product Manager to own representative Physical AI applications and the reusable ML and software stack beneath them. The role spans humanoids, autonomous vehicles, and robotics, connecting perception, autonomy, AI inference, middleware, tooling, simulation, and deployment into one product direction.

This Principal-level individual-contributor role turns customer problems into product choices, requirements, and measured results. It works across application, platform, silicon, and partner teams to decide what Arm should build and how developers should use it.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the product direction
• Choose target developers and representative workloads. Define the problem, desired outcome, roadmap, and product boundaries. Decide which capabilities should be common across markets and which must remain specific to humanoids, autonomous vehicles, or other robots.
• Define the application and stack
• Set requirements and interfaces across sensing, perception, state estimation, planning, control, models, inference serving, QoS, robotics middleware, system software, APIs and SDKs, simulation, deployment, and observability.
• Decide where Arm should build, integrate, partner, or preserve customer choice.
• Keep common paths simple while advanced developers retain control.
• Prove and deliver the product
• Set the backlog, milestones, quality bars, and release criteria.
• Define evaluation with representative workloads, including task success, tail latency, jitter, power, memory, failure behavior, and time to deploy.
• Use measured prototypes and reference implementations to separate capability from hypothesis and guide product and competitive claims.
• Work with customers and drive decisions
• Validate workflows and production barriers with developers, OEMs, silicon and software partners, and early customers.
• Bring product, engineering, architecture, and business leaders to clear decisions on priorities, ownership, and dependencies. Represent the product in technical reviews, roadmaps, demonstrations, and launch planning.

Vital Skills and Experience:

• Proven record owning complex technical products at Principal scope, from problem selection through delivery and adoption.
• Product management experience with developer platforms, AI/ML systems, robotics or autonomy, or products that span hardware and software.
• Technical fluency across robotics and autonomy, AI/ML workflows and inference, edge platforms, and heterogeneous compute.
• Ability to turn customer and partner workloads into product requirements, priorities, roadmaps, and release decisions.
• Experience defining benchmarks, acceptance criteria, and evidence plans for technical products.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong product judgment, and a record of driving decisions across senior technical and business leaders.
• Technical degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, robotics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Products for humanoids, autonomous vehicles, industrial or mobile robots, or other real-time physical systems.
• Arm-based SoCs, heterogeneous compute, embedded Linux, or real-time operating systems.
• ROS 2, simulation, software- or hardware-in-the-loop testing, logging, replay, calibration, or updates.
• Perception, multimodal sensing, sensor fusion, data and model evaluation, compilers, runtimes, profiling, or observability.
• Functional safety, fault management, security, open-source communities, or work with OEMs and silicon partners.

Salary Range:

$207,800-$281,200 per year
