About the team

Zillow’s Connections Platform team builds the systems that enable personalized connections between customers and their move team. The team powers seamless connection experiences across Zillow’s lines of business and helps ensure customers can engage with the right support at the right time.

About the role

As Principal Product Manager for the Connections Platform, you will define the strategy and roadmap for a platform that supports critical experiences across Zillow. Your work will directly shape core services including Leads and Switchboard Agents, which help teams across Zillow connect customers with the right next step. In this role, you will partner across the company to evolve a scalable platform, improve customer experiences, and help define the future of agentic capabilities at Zillow.

You Will Get To

  • Own and drive the Connections Platform vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution in alignment with Zillow’s strategic priorities.

  • Partner with teams across Zillow to understand business needs, align priorities, and translate them into scalable product requirements.

  • Shape the future of Zillow’s Leads platform and Switchboard Agents capabilities to support more intelligent, agentic customer and partner experiences.

  • Use AI-enabled tools to rapidly prototype ideas and build lightweight solutions, including internal workflows, auditing tools, and configuration experiences.

  • Leverage data, experimentation, and analysis to identify platform opportunities, improve decision-making, and enhance the customer experience.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $178,300.00 - $284,700.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
In
Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $169,300.00 - $270,500.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in a platform-focused environment, with a track record of owning strategy and execution for complex products.

  • Technically fluent and able to work effectively with APIs, database schemas, data models, and scalable platform architectures.

  • Skilled at building strong cross-functional relationships and aligning the needs of multiple teams and stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, quickly learning new domains, and synthesizing use cases into clear product direction.

  • Experienced in building scalable platform capabilities that anticipate future needs and support a broad range of internal users and use cases.

  • Able to use data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to uncover insights, guide decisions, and improve product and customer outcomes.

  • Familiar with AI-driven or agentic product experiences, such as lead nurturing, lead classification, or similar intelligent workflow capabilities.
