Overview

Microsoft Agent 365 is the control plane for AI agents in the enterprise — giving organizations the ability to observe, govern, and secure the rapidly growing number of agents at work across their business. Built into the Microsoft 365 admin center and the same trusted infrastructure as Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender, Agent 365 treats agents as first-class digital identities: discoverable in a centralized registry, managed across their lifecycle, and protected with enterprise-grade identity, data protection, and threat defense — regardless of which tools, frameworks, or models were used to build them.

Based in our Dublin, Ireland office, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal Product Manager to drive the next wave of agent management innovation for Agent 365. This role is pivotal to the success of our platform. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned product leader with a deep technical background in Generative AI, LLM, SLM, and agentic systems, and experience leading engineering and product teams within an enterprise SaaS platform ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for agent observability, governance, and security within Agent 365.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Product Management, Engineering, Design, IT, Sales, and Marketing — to align strategies and ensure a unified approach to product development.
• Partner with enterprise customers and stakeholders at C-Level (CISOs, CIOs, and IT and security leaders), as well as internal stakeholders, to shape requirements and support growth across key customer segments.
• Drive integration and interoperability across the Microsoft ecosystem and with first-party, third-party, and open-source agents.
• Participate in customer and field education programs, including webinars, training sessions, and resource materials.
• Drive strategic and customer feedback and insights into the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/program management or software development

• In-depth experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
• In-depth experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• Multiple years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
• Demonstrated ability to drive product alignment across multiple engineering and product organizations without direct authority.
• Fluency with agent observability and operational governance domains, ideally including monitoring and telemetry, audit and usage/cost accounting, and autonomous-agent orchestration technologies.
• Experience engaging externally with IT and AI operations buyers (CIOs, platform and AIOps leaders), industry analysts, ecosystem and ISV partners.
• Solid written and verbal communication, with the ability to set a narrative for both technical and executive audiences.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 99,800.00 - € 172,400.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
