
The Island Platform Ecosystem organization is responsible for helping ensure customers can rely on our cloud services through industry-leading resiliency, business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for resiliency, continuity, reliability, performance, and security capabilities across the Microsoft Dataverse ecosystem, which powers Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot experiences used by customers worldwide.
This role operates at the intersection of customer trust, platform resiliency, capacity strategy, service growth, and business priorities. The successful candidate will thrive in dynamic environments, navigate complex cross-organizational challenges, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. They will possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and effectively balance competing priorities while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and highly collaborative. They listen deeply to customers and partners, incorporate feedback into decision-making, and influence organizations through data, empathy, and clear communication. They are comfortable operating in evolving environments where priorities, constraints, and opportunities may shift and consistently bring clarity, structure, and focus to complex problems. The products and decisions led by this role will directly influence customers’ ability to maintain critical business operations and trust Microsoft cloud services during regional or service-level disruptions.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
