Job Description

Within CO+I, the Global Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing Microsoft Cloud for our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill the critical role of Principal Procurement Manager.

This role will be based in one of our office locations – Dublin, Ireland or Amsterdam, Netherlands or Cologne, Germany.
Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the office location.



Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

Leads data strategy and performance analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and guide enterprise-level decision-making. Anticipates data anomalies and systemic issues, and drives resolution through insight-driven actions and stakeholder alignment. Designs metrics and reporting standards to communicate critical insights and long-term trends to stakeholders.

Process Improvement and Innovation

Drives strategic process improvement initiatives and leads the implementation of high-impact solutions using advanced methodologies. Oversees root cause analysis across teams and translates insights into enterprise-level best practices and long-term operational enhancements.

Program and Project Management

Leads highly complex, strategic supply chain programs with enterprise-wide scope and long-term impact. Oversees execution across multiple teams and functions to drive alignment and ensure successful delivery of milestones. Delivers executive-level updates to stakeholders and proactively resolves program-level risks and structural issues.

Risk Management

Drives strategic risk identification and mitigation across programs, regions, or business units, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management practices. Partners with stakeholders to proactively address systemic risks and embed resilience into operations. Oversees development of risk scenarios and enterprise-level response protocols to support long-term readiness and response efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement

Drives strategic coordination across internal organizations and external partners to ensure successful delivery of high-impact programs and resolution of systemic or enterprise-level issues. Leads executive-level collaboration and facilitates alignment forums to sustain cross-functional engagement and advance organizational objectives.

Supplier and Vendor Management

Leads strategic oversight of supplier performance and compliance across categories, regions, or critical programs. Drives resolution of systemic issues and leads long-term improvement planning in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Evaluates supplier KPIs and partners with leadership to implement corrective actions that support enterprise objectives and sustained performance.

Supply Chain Management

Drives strategic, enterprise-wide supply chain initiatives by orchestrating alignment across planning, sourcing, logistics, and operational functions to optimize cost, service, inventory performance, and customer satisfaction. Leverages advanced tools and sets objectives to ensure strategies support long-term business goals and market demands.

Sustainability and Compliance

Drives strategic compliance with environmental and regulatory standards through planning and reporting activities across programs, regions, or business units. Ensures required documentation is submitted and reviewed during checkpoints to support enterprise-wide compliance and risk management efforts.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience;
  • Proven experience in both supply chain and data center construction;
  • Demonstrated experience working on data center build programs with multi-billion-dollar budgets.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND proven experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND proven experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Six Sigma.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Supply Chain Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 113,600.00 - € 213,700.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Supply Chain Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 131,700.00 - € 252,500.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Supply Chain Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 131,400.00 - € 265,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
