Reporting to the Manager Process Engineering, your immediate focus will be leading the delivery of Process Safety Engineering activities for a key client partner across Onshore LNG Terminal, downstream Oil & Gas and emerging energy projects. You will provide Technical Safety leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and Pre-FEED through FEED and EPCM execution, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective and operationally robust solutions. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project management, clients, regulators and supply chain partners, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence while supporting successful project outcomes aligned with Wood's standards, systems and values.
As a senior technical leader, you will balance project delivery, stakeholder engagement, team development and client relationship management, providing trusted advice and guidance to support informed decision-making and safe, commercially effective project execution. You must hold (or be eligible to obtain) legal working rights in Singapore. Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and suitably qualified professionals requiring Employment Pass sponsorship are encouraged to apply.
Ideally, you will be qualified with a bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical (or related) Engineering discipline from a recognised institution, together with 15+ years of proven experience in Process Safety, Technical Safety, Loss Prevention or Fire Protection Engineering within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, Renewable or Emerging Energy sectors.

What will set you apart will be your previous experience supporting Onshore LNG Regasification Terminals, FSRU developments, refinery or petrochemical facilities, coupled with experience using consequence modelling and hydraulic analysis software (e.g. PHAST, SAFETI and Pipenet). Chartered Engineer status or recognised professional accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
