Ready to shape the future of pricing?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Pricing Analyst to join our Motor Pricing Optimisation and R&D Team. This is a hybrid role based in our London office.
As a Principal Pricing Analyst, you will use machine learning techniques and insurance market knowledge to develop and implement price optimisation across our leading retail motor brands: LV, Allianz Online, and Britannia Car. You’ll plan and lead projects that bring together technical experts, and communicate the results to stakeholders across the business. As a trusted subject matter expert in your chosen field, you will act as a consultant to teams across Pricing, and provide training and mentoring to upskill colleagues.
Be part of a team that’s driving innovation!
At Allianz UK, your growth is our priority. From global training through the Allianz P&C Academy, to premium access to platforms like DataCamp, Databricks Academy, and LinkedIn Learning, we equip you with the tools and resources to thrive. You’ll gain expert knowledge through insight sessions that sharpen both your technical edge and commercial impact.
By working in the Optimisation team, you’ll be bringing together all the elements of the price, collaborating with experts in teams across pricing, contributing the Allianz’s pricing strategy, and opening doors for future career opportunities both in Allianz UK and globally.
Pay: Circa £64,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
As a Principal Pricing Analyst, you’ll have experience working in insurance and data science, and you’ll be looking to take the next step in your career to use your experience to take charge of major projects and to influence Allianz’s strategy for Motor pricing.
You understand that machine learning is a fast-developing field, and you relish the opportunity to proactively improve your knowledge and keep abreast of the latest innovations.
You’ll use that expertise to advise other teams and apply it to the full model building workflow – from data extraction to model deployment.
You’ll have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills that you’ll utilise to explain complex results to non-technical audiences, and to coordinate project teams of technical experts.
You’ll also be keen to share your in-depth knowledge to inform and inspire others through training and mentoring.
We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but you should be able to demonstrate
