Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineer with Project Management experience and a background in pipeline and midstream gas infrastructure to lead capital projects across compressor stations, pipelines, and related facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical equipment support for static and process facilities
  • Scope and document maintenance, minor brownfield projects, and major CAPEX projects
  • Manage CAPEX and some OPEX projects including estimates, design definition, and full project management from inception through completion
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Lead projects involving compressor stations, pipelines/interconnects, and meter/regulating stations
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, and contractors
  • Monitor and improve project management processes to drive better economics
  • Develop optimization opportunities for project management processes
  • Identify and implement improvements to engineering standards and procedures
  • Develop new and review existing engineering standards and procedures as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Pipeline or midstream industry experience
  • Experience with compressor stations and/or pipeline projects
  • Proven project management of capital infrastructure projects
  • Experience with natural gas systems or gas processing
  • Exposure to liquids pipelines or pump stations
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Familiarity with pipeline or gas modeling
  • Experience with hydraulics calculations

Note: This role focuses on pipeline infrastructure.

Employees in this role make decisions and recommendations having significant impact on extensive engineering and related activities for the company. This position negotiates critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive engineering programs and activities
  • Manages one or more programs of complex diversity and scope which are of critical importance to overall company objectives
  • Acts as a subject matter expert
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Experience: 6+ years
