What you’ll do:

  • Establish and lead the financial governance strategy for Tower Operations and Lease Administration.

  • Own programs designed to improve payment accuracy, financial controls, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

  • Partner with executive leadership to identify financial risks, operational gaps, and strategic improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and implement control frameworks that protect against financial leakage and operational risk.

  • Lead initiatives that improve accountability, governance, and performance management across internal and vendor-supported operations.

  • Define the organization's reporting and analytics strategy supporting operational, financial, and compliance objectives.

  • Lead development of executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, performance scorecards, and predictive analytics models.

  • Drive initiatives that improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and business intelligence capabilities.

  • Leverage analytics to identify operational risks, cost recovery opportunities, process inefficiencies, and emerging trends.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior and executive leadership audiences.

  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on cost reduction, overpayment recovery, process efficiency, and financial optimization.

  • Oversee complex reconciliation and financial analysis programs impacting lease payments and contractual compliance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through process redesign, automation, and enhanced governance.

  • Develop business cases and ROI models to support investment and transformation decisions.

  • Lead interactions with Internal Audit, External Audit, Finance, and Compliance organizations.

  • Direct audit remediation activities and ensure sustainable corrective actions are implemented across the business.

  • Develop executive-level compliance reporting and control effectiveness scorecards.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the overall control environment and operational governance model.

What you’ll bring:

The Principal Network Project/Program Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving financial governance, operational excellence, compliance, and transformation initiatives across Tower Operations and Lease Administration. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership for programs that strengthen internal controls, improve financial accuracy, enhance audit readiness, and increase operational efficiency across a large and complex lease portfolio.

The position partners with executive leadership, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, External Audit, Technology, Legal, Vendor Management, and Operations organizations to establish governance frameworks, lead strategic initiatives, and implement scalable solutions that reduce risk, improve data integrity, and deliver measurable business value.
This leader will be responsible for developing long-term operating strategies, driving automation and digital transformation efforts, overseeing critical financial control programs, and influencing executive decision-making through analytics, insights, and performance reporting.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

What you’ll need:

  • Required Experience:

    • 7+ years of related experience

    • Certification is required in some areas.

  • Desired Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA), technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.



Our Principal Network Proj/Prog Mgmt jobs earn between $128,400.00 - $215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
