You will lead the design and development of next-generation DNA sequencing instrumentation. This is a hands-on, senior-level role focused on solving complex mechanical challenges at the core of highly integrated life science systems. Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end mechanical design of complex sub-systems, including electro-mechanical, fluidic, pneumatic, and thermal components
Design mechanisms for automated reagent and flow cell handling, sealing, and clamping
Architect precision thermal control systems (heating, cooling, sensors, condensation control)
Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, systems, consumables, materials, and assay teams
Support system integration, verification, and troubleshooting as the technical owner
