A Day in the Life

The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business at Medtronic focuses on technologies that help diagnose, monitor, and treat heart rhythm disorders through implantable cardiac devices, remote monitoring solutions, and advanced therapies. The portfolio includes pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT), monitoring technologies, and associated digital solutions that support improved patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiency.

This role is part of the CRM team supporting Turkiye and Pakistan and is responsible for driving downstream marketing strategy, therapy adoption, market development, and portfolio growth across both countries. The position is based in Istanbul, Turkiye, and requires up to 25% travel. The Principal Marketing Specialist CRM is responsible for leading downstream marketing initiatives and therapy development activities across the Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio in Turkiye and Pakistan. The role requires deep understanding of CRM therapies, healthcare stakeholder dynamics, and market development strategies to drive therapy awareness, product adoption, and sustainable business growth. Working within a matrix organisation, the individual will translate customer and market insights into actionable marketing programmes and commercial initiatives that support regional business objectives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies and annual business plans for the Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio across Turkiye and Pakistan.
• Drive therapy awareness, market development, and demand generation initiatives through targeted engagement with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Lead product launches and adoption acceleration programmes, ensuring structured go-to-market planning and execution.
• Translate clinical, economic, and market insights into compelling value propositions and customer-focused marketing initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Finance teams to align strategic priorities and drive business results.
• Support customer education programmes, scientific events, and professional society activities to strengthen therapy adoption.
• Analyse market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, and business performance to identify growth opportunities and optimise marketing investments.
• Develop tools, programmes, and resources that enable field teams to effectively communicate portfolio value and execute commercial strategies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, product management, commercial excellence, or related healthcare industry roles.
• Minimum 4+ years of marketing experience within medical technology, cardiovascular, cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology, or related healthcare environments.
• Professional proficiency in English, including written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience engaging with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other healthcare stakeholders within complex clinical environments.
• Experience working within a multinational matrix organisation and managing projects across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within Cardiac Rhythm Management, electrophysiology, implantable cardiac devices, or broader cardiovascular therapy areas.
• Knowledge of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, and remote monitoring technologies.
• Experience leading product launches, therapy development programmes, or market development initiatives across multiple countries.
• Understanding of healthcare economics, value-based healthcare, reimbursement processes, and market access dynamics.
• Experience using data, customer insights, and market analytics to shape commercial strategies and measure marketing effectiveness.
