Our Principals:

• Scope, lead and deliver our major and complex transformation programmes, creating meaningful change
• Nurture client advisory relationships, accounts and partnerships
• Play a lead role in contributing to account growth with some new business development activities
• Mentor and coach colleagues
• Are members of the senior leadership team
• Contribute to strategic internal projects and lead internal events
• Are the future leaders of Gate One, an international challenger consultancy at the heart of Havas

Ideal experience profile:

• c.10 years in consulting, likely gained within recognised management consultancies, often enhanced by in-house consulting in industry
• Expertise in CX is currently advantageous: end-to-end CX transformation (strategy to delivery), service design, blueprints, journey mapping, design thinking, and customer insights are sub-capabilities in high-demand
• Proficiency in Data and Analytics is key for our Digital team. Highly sought-after skills include expertise in data management & governance, data archiving and retention, data migration, as well as data architecture and engineering. Additionally, experience with analytics and visualization tools as well as AI and automation is highly desirable
• Product and Agile are also growth capabilities this year
• Cross-sector experience leading transformation programmes & delivery teams or a specialism in one sector with a desire to lead and grow this at Gate One
• Experience in growing key accounts and leading senior business development meetings

We offer flexible working and part-time roles (3-4.5 days/week). Around 17% of our Principals currently work on part-time contracts.

• Jen Nixon leads the Gate One sustainability team and helped launch Havas Genus, an integrated global network of sustainability experts. She is a thought leader in the sustainability space and has spoken on BBC Breakfast about driving greater sustainability in retail
• Alex Cossor leads our corporate social responsibility activities, raising over £12k + 45 pro bono consulting days in 2023 across fundraising events, campaigns for our charity partners and the annual charity day for all our staff in December
• Sasha Watson and Stasia Smith-Turpin have refreshed our learning and development portfolio, with over 120 days of content targeting technical, business and soft skills as resources for everyone in our team to access
• In 2023, 25% of our Principals took a sabbatical, extended or family leave.
