
The Principal IT Business System Analyst helps client areas achieve their objectives by serving as a resource across functional boundaries and business areas in the analysis of business and user needs with the application of technology solutions. Principal BSAs lead the integration of multiyear projects with the highest levels of risk, complexity, budget dollars and impact to the business area. Principal BSAs have a vested interest in continuous consultation with business clients to help achieve their short and long-term objectives. Principal BSAs closely compare and analyze current processes and technologies against future capabilities to help business leadership make fully informed decisions to improve efficiencies, data integrity and investment dollars. Principal BSAs possess extensive functional knowledge of assigned business goals/operations and the IT systems/applications used to support those areas and can easily communicate with business and IT teams to ensure successful effective solutions. Principal BSAs will be leading multi-year initiatives and may also be simultaneously assigned to multiple complex projects to lead the integration efforts and provide guidance to other BSAs in terms of user story, business requirements and system requirements to ensure all outputs align with business needs and requirements. Principal BSAs will also serve as solutions train lead for assigned projects where they will be applying and implementing IT strategy in assigned project/initiative.
What You Will Be Doing
What We Require
8+ years related work experience in IT business analyst experience
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated experience of Information Technology fields, systems, architecture, tools and processes that support business initiatives
Ability to articulate technical information and solutions into simple clear communications for business areas
Be viewed in organization as a subject matter expert for system and business process integration
Extensive working knowledge of healthcare industry
Demonstrated knowledge of various market segments and their different impacts to business processes and technical solutions
Apply and implement overall IT strategy in assigned projects/initiatives
Ability to work with challenging clients and provide effective communication for successful technical solutioning
Effective team building, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills across all levels of leadership with business and IT teams
Experience with existing internal and external system integrations and data/file transmissions
Problem solving skills to quickly identify system integration/migration issues and provide alternative solutions to minimize business impacts
Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through project or technical leadership experience including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
Experience managing multiple priorities and ability to facilitate adoption of changing priorities

Typical Annualized Offer/Hiring Range: $119,400 - $149,200
Annualized Salary Range:$119,400 - $194,000
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
