Job Description

We're looking for a Principal Insights Analystto join us in this newly created role! You'll become part of a global, growing SaaS company at an exciting point in our growth journey.

What will you do?

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to solve complex commercial problems using data
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches, identifying the right data, methodologies, and success measures.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations across areas such as marketing performance, customer value, operational efficiency, and commercial optimisation.
  • Work closely with Insights, Product, and Engineering teams to shape analytical approaches, operationalise insights, and improve how data is used across the business.
  • Develop new metrics, measurement approaches, and insight frameworks to better understand commercial performance and customer outcomes
  • Mentor and guide others within the Insights team, helping elevate analytical thinking, problem solving, and best practices.
  • Use tools including SQL, Python, and Databricks to explore data, prototype analysis, and support insight generation.
  • Contribute to evolving ways of working, including the use of AI-assisted analytics and modern Databricks capabilities.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong analytics and insights experience, with the ability to solve complex business problems through data

  • Advanced SQL skills, along with working knowledge of Python for analysis, prototyping, and working with technical teams.

  • Commercial thinking
    , with the ability to connect data and analytics to real-world business outcomes

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
    , with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • A structured, curious approach to problem solving, including asking thoughtful questions and challenging assumptions.

  • A collaborative and consultative style, with the confidence to influence stakeholders and bridge business and technical teams.
