Join us as a Principal Engineer

  • This is a challenging role that will see you design and engineer software with the customer or user experience as the primary objective
  • You’ll be playing a major role in the engineering centre of excellence, collaborating to improve the bank’s overall software engineering capability
  • You’ll gain valuable stakeholder exposure as you build and leverage relationships, as well as the opportunity to hone your technical talents
  • We are offering this role at vice president level

What you'll do

As a Principal Engineer, you’ll be driving the architecture, design, and delivery of solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Service, translating business requirements into scalable and secure solutions You’ll play a leading role in designing and delivering robust, high-performance, and resilient enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with bank-wide architecture standards

You’ll also be:

  • Designing and developing solutions across Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot

  • Leading architecture for Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including Unified Routing, SLA, Entitlements, and case management

  • Creating and governing technical artifacts such as HLSD, LLD, and process workflows

  • Driving architecture discussions with CRM CoE, enterprise architects, and platform teams

  • Presenting solutions in architecture review boards and governance forums

  • Building Copilot agents and AI-driven use cases using AI Builder

  • Acting as a SME within the Power Apps Hub and Power Platform ecosystem

The skills you'll need

You’ll come with s trong experience in Power Platform and Dynamics 365 architecture, combined with deep knowledge of enterprise solution design and governance. You’ll bring hands-on expertise along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills We’d also like to see significant and demonstrable experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.

You’ll also need:

  • At least 12+ years of experience in solution architecture and application development

  • Hands-on experience with Copilot, AI Builder, Dataverse, and XRM tools

  • Proven experience in creating architecture documentation such as HLSD, LLD

  • Strong experience in driving technical strategy and mentoring engineering teams

  • Experience leading multiple teams and large-scale enterprise implementations

  • Experience supporting Power Platform adoption across enterprise platforms

  • Strong experience of modern architectures such as microservices, event streaming, serverless, and multi-region systems, supported by solid knowledge of industry- recognised frameworks and tooling
