Principal Engineer - Test Hardware Technology

Thailand | 120K - 150K THB/month

We're looking for a Principal Engineer to lead test hardware
innovation and drive technical strategies for next-generation Automated Test
Equipment (ATE) solutions. This senior-level role will provide mentorship,
resolve complex engineering challenges, and help shape advanced hardware solutions
in a global, multicultural environment.

What you'll do

• Drive strategic direction and
  technical innovation for next-gen ATE test board architectures and
  interconnect technologies
• Collaborate with central
  teams in the EU and USA to align strategies and implement advanced
  solutions
• Lead advanced verification
  and validation methodologies for robust and reliable test boards
• Provide senior technical
  guidance and mentorship to team members
• Resolve complex technical
  problems through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner with suppliers and
  central engineering teams for successful project delivery
• Represent technical
  achievements to leadership and influence strategic decisions
• Contribute to technological
  leadership through innovative hardware solutions and impactful initiatives

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in
  semiconductor testing, with expertise in Digital, Power, and Mixed Signal
  ATE
• Proven leadership experience
  managing teams or departments
• Exceptional presentation
  skills for stakeholder alignment in multicultural environments
• Excellent English
  communication skills
• Strong knowledge in
  developing device interface boards for wafer and backend test
• Experience with schematic
  diagrams, electronic components, and PCB design
• Expertise in mixed signal IC
  production test solutions using ATE platforms (V93K, microFLEX, UltraFlex,
  ETS-88, ETS800)
• Strong grasp of
  analog/digital circuits, power devices, and high-speed signal integrity
• Solid understanding of
  semiconductor test production processes, yield improvement, and test time
  reduction
• Hands-on experience with
  oscilloscopes and lab equipment
• Skilled in quality and
  process improvement tools (FMEA, DOE, 8D, SPC, Six Sigma, Lean)
• Mechanical CAD tooling
  experience
• Masters degree in
  Engineering
