Key Responsibilities

• Lead system integration activities for complex Defence Communications and C2 systems.
• Integrate hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure across air, land, maritime, and joint environments.
• Define and manage system interfaces, interoperability, and interface control documentation.
• Lead integration testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and operational readiness activities.
• Support platform integration trials, field deployments, customer demonstrations, and interoperability testing.
• Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, networking, customers, suppliers, and platform teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering/System Integration within Defence, Aerospace, Security, or mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience integrating complex hardware, software, and distributed systems.
• Experience with platform integration, operational environments, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Skills

• Defence Communications, C2/C4ISR, Tactical Data Links, and Mission Systems.
• Networking, TCP/IP, UDP, routing, messaging, and OSI-layer communications.
• System interoperability, interface management, and Systems-of-Systems integration.
• Network/system test tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
• Troubleshooting, integration testing, technical problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of MBSE, simulation environments, secure communications, and defence standards is desirable.
