Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Act as the technical lead and methodological expert for Burn-in (BI), including steering BI decisions, driving continuous improvements, and serving as the primary interface to technology and product development as well as statistics teams
  • Provide teaching, coaching, and knowledge transfer on Burn-in topics to cross-functional teams, ensuring a consistent and high-quality understanding of BI methodologies across the organization
  • Support Design for Stress (DfS) sustaining activities, including the management and resolution of DfS Jira Tickets in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Serve as the 1st level of support for internal customer inquiries, with a particular focus on Automotive Governance, ensuring timely and solution-oriented responses
  • Drive long-term, strategically important tasks that require sustained attention, ensuring that critical but non-urgent topics receive appropriate prioritization and follow-through
  • Collaborate closely with Front-End (FE), Back-End (BE) and product development teams, contributing expert knowledge on failure mechanisms, defects, design and test conditions to support informed quality decisions
  • Lead customer communications about early topics
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), processes, methods, and tools along the entire supply chain, with a strong automotive quality mindset

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of professional work experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong focus on quality management along the supply chain, Front-End and Back-End processes, and reliability testing
  • Expert-level knowledge in Burn-in methodologies, including deep understanding of physical failure mechanisms, defect analysis, Fault Analysis (FA), and test conditions relevant to semiconductor devices
  • Proven experience as a technical lead in a cross-functional environment, with the ability to drive decisions, align stakeholders, and manage Design for Stress (DfS) activities effectively
  • Solid understanding of wafer manufacturing process, foundational skills in data analysis, and familiarity with chip design, test engineering and product development processes
  • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Intranet platforms
  • Show a strong automotive quality mindset and knowledge about automotive requirements
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine service provider attitude, with demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and inspire colleagues while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus
