ABOUT THE CLIENT

ENGAGEMENT

- Permanent / full-time

- Location: Bangkok metropolitan area, Thailand

- Salary: up to THB 155,000 / month, negotiable on experience

- Start date: subject to candidate notice period

The Principal Engineer, Industrial Engineering is the key enabler for the manufacturing site to achieve Operational Excellence. Drives the implementation of IE standards and KPIs, productivity programmes, automation roadmap, and the optimisation of cycle time and utilisation across the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be the key IE enabler for the manufacturing segment / site to achieve Operational Excellence.

- Drive implementation of IE standards and KPIs, with measurable improvement in Personnel, Capital, Material and Area efficiencies.

- Drive the Standard Production Management system; optimise cycle time and utilisation across the site.

- Own the overall annual productivity programme — execute current-year defined measures and secure mid/long-term productivity pipelines.

- Define and drive the Automation roadmap to secure mid/long-term productivity targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

- Lean trained or Lean certified; Black Belt preferred.

- Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor.

- PJM certification (IPMA, PMP) preferred.

- Layout planning experience an advantage.

- Self-driven, results-oriented, strong analytical skills.

- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.

- Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Good command of English.
