Duties & Responsibilities

• Hardware design, development and validation of high-speed digital coherent optics in telecom and datacom applications.
• Collaborate with system architects, firmware engineers, and testing teams to deliver robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle from concept and schematic design to prototyping, compliance testing, and mass production support.
• Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, signal integrity, power efficiency, and industry standard requirements (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, OTN).

Qualification & Requirements

Education:

• B.S degree or above in electronics engineering, telecommunication

Experience:

• 5+ years board/system level hardware design experience in telecom or embedded industry
• Proficient in communication system hardware architecture and design.
• Deep understanding on hardware components and circuit fundamentals.
• Familiar with communication bus SPI, UART, I2C, SGMII etc.
• Familiar with power chipsets and circuit design
• Experience on ARM/x86 CPU complex, Ethernet switch, FPGA and CPLD system, Ethernet switch and interconnection, power management of control system, etc.
• Good project working experience with different functions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Hardware DVT test and power test

Special Skills:

• Familiar with HW circuit design software, such as Orcad and Cadence Allegro
• Deep understanding of hardware design and engineering process (PCB and PCBA) and quality control is required
• Actual experience problem resolving, requires originality and ingenuity using knowledge gained in field
• Knowledge and experience on Ethernet Switch chips
• Able to debug hardware on Linux environment
• Hands on kinds of instruments such as oscilloscope, DMM, AWG, etc.
• Fluent in both oral and written English, good communication skill is required.
• Excellent team work, self-motivated and ready to help.
• Ability to prepare and present concise plans, reports and other project documents.
• Exhibits effective listening, influencing, and negotiating skills.

• Good project management and facilitation skills.

1. Electrical design throughout whole process, including feasibility study, schematic develope, simulation for key parts, BOM create and maintaining in Agile system, and final verification test.
2. Working with operation team to develop functional test for manufacture.
3. Technical support for customer enquiries.
4. New product budget estimates and planning.

1. Provides technical support for manufacturing
2. Engineering Order and Engineering Change Order including BOM submit as required
