What You Will Do

• Design and implement robust backend systems using technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Lead architectural discussions to establish best practices and ensure the integrity of the system architecture.
• Optimize database performance and manage data flow to support machine learning applications.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Drive the integration of AWS services to enhance system capabilities and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of new features that directly improve user engagement and satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 8–15 years of experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on scalable systems.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex software architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience with Temporal for managing complex workflows and time-based processes.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in healthcare technology.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $230K to $300K, complemented by meaningful equity opportunities. This company offers a dynamic work environment where innovation and collaboration are highly valued.
