Principal DevOps Engineer (Mobile Platform)
Location: Bangkok, Thailand | Permanent, full time | Hybrid
About the Opportunity
Evantis Talent Solutions is recruiting a Principal DevOps Engineer for a leading multinational financial services organisation.
You will design and run the CI/CD and GitOps pipelines behind backend services and native mobile apps, from commit through to production and app store release. You will own reliability and security, use AI-assisted tools to automate more of the work, and mentor engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for backend services and native mobile apps
- Operate Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS, provisioning with Terraform and delivering with Helm and GitOps
- Own the mobile release path end to end: code signing (Android keystores, iOS provisioning profiles), Fastlane, test distribution, App Store and Google Play publishing, and macOS build agents
- Own observability and SRE: SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, incident response and cross-region DR
- Embed DevSecOps: least-privilege access, supply chain security, vulnerability management and audit evidence
- Work with development, QA and operations to streamline the SDLC and standardise branching and versioning
- Troubleshoot across all environments and mentor engineers
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong Linux and hands-on Kubernetes experience, including day-2 operations
- Proven DevOps/SRE experience with GitHub Actions and Argo CD or Flux, plus strong Git
- AWS preferred (Azure/GCP acceptable), Terraform, Helm or Kustomize
- Exposure to mobile CI/CD: iOS/Android signing, store submission, macOS build agents (native app development welcome but not required)
- Security-minded, comfortable owning vulnerability triage and pipeline security
- Monitoring and observability experience with an SRE mindset
- Strong communication, Agile/Scrum, Jira and Confluence
