The Role


We are currently seeking a Principal Designer (Bridges & Structures), to design, coordinate and take the lead on project delivery for various Rail & Metro Transport Infrastructure projects both locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept design and delivery of rail projects, with a focus on bridges
  • Define project workflows and establish efficient drafting processes from project inception
  • Develop and implement custom Revit tools, Dynamo scripts, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Support projects by creating tailored scripts and workflows to meet deliverables with high efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the design and drafting team

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ bridge design experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit, including advanced family creation and parametric modeling
  • Strong experience with Dynamo scripting, automation, and process optimization
  • Ability to develop internal Revit tools and standards to enhance team productivity
  • Deep understanding of bridge detailing, verification, and set-out processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performing team
