Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Contracts Administrator based out of Linthicum, MD. This position is for on-site/in-office every day and offers a 9/80 schedule.
The Contracts Administrator will join a team supporting the Distributed Systems Operating Unit (OU) in the Mission Next (MNX) Division, Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) Business Unit (BU).
The successful candidate will work closely with the Program team, including Program Management, Business Management, Legal, Global Supply Chain, and Engineering. The Principal Contracts Administrator will act as the primary interface with business partners and prime/USG customers regarding contract administration, contract change management, and proposal preparation/negotiation.
The Principal Contract Administrator will manage assigned contracts and proposals in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Additionally, the Principal Contract Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.

Excellent communication is a must as the selected candidate will be directly involved in negotiations with the customer as a strategic team member. Our team is looking for someone who wants to grow and get experience with both USG and non-USG prime customers. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and experience with developing creative alternative solutions.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
