What we are looking for

Argano is seeking a Principal Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Consultant to join our Managed Services practice. This client-facing role provides ongoing functional support and advisory services across the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials suite. The consultant will own incidents, service requests, minor enhancements, quarterly update readiness, functional configuration, testing, and process optimization while working within agreed service levels and client priorities. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Fusion Financials expertise with strong knowledge of finance business processes and a proactive commitment to client success, system stability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Using in-depth knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Financial Applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost-effective solutions to solve business issues.
• Provide high-quality client support by triaging and owning incidents and service requests through resolution, gathering complete business and system information, communicating status and risks, and meeting agreed service-level targets.
• Troubleshoot client issues through functional analysis, configuration review, data validation, log and process review, replication, root-cause analysis, and regression testing. When vendor assistance is required, open and manage Oracle Service Requests, provide actionable evidence, and drive issues to resolution.
• Manage Oracle service requests through resolution, including diagnostics, follow-ups, validation, and status updates.
• Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud quarterly update readiness activities, including reviewing new and deprecated features, assessing client impact, recommending opt-in functionality, coordinating configuration changes, preparing test scenarios, supporting regression and user acceptance testing, documenting outcomes, and delivering end-user enablement.
• Proactively contribute to the overall support process by suggesting & executing new process efficiencies, documenting common support issues and workarounds, to minimize the number of future support requests.
• Refine client requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval.
• Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving system issues.
• Participate in team training activities to keep current with Oracle Cloud functionality.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
• MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD (technical accounting, management system, Business Admin, etc.) expected.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8–10 years of Oracle Financials functional consulting experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation or production support experience. Experience supporting multiple clients or complex environments in a managed services model is strongly preferred.
• Preferred to be a CPA/CA equivalent with an in-depth understanding of finance business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze Oracle Fusion Financials configurations, accounting rules, workflows, security roles, scheduled processes, reports, data loads, and integration touchpoints sufficiently to diagnose issues and coordinate effectively with technical teams.
• Ability to independently research, reproduce, test, configure, and resolve client issues within agreed priorities and service levels while documenting root cause, resolution steps, testing evidence, and client communication.
• Ability to open, track, and manage Oracle Service Requests, including selecting appropriate severity, providing reproducible evidence, coordinating client actions, escalating when necessary, and validating Oracle-provided solutions before closure.
• Proven experience with guiding clients through business process improvements and solving day-to-day issues.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
