Expected salary range of $111,600 to $124,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

LOCATION

This position offers remote flexibility and can be based anywhere in the United States.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under the general direction of the Sr Manager Enterprise Records & Information Governance, provides day to day analytical and tactical support for corporate Records and Information Management program. Support business units with adherence to the company's Records and Information Management program. Establishes and maintains procedures for filing, classification and retrieval of corporate records to meet internal and external requirements for compliance. Evaluates efficiency of electronic document control systems and makes recommendations for improvement. Enforces document control policies and delivers training in records and information management procedures. - Responsible for designing and developing the program, policies and practices to ensure the organization complies with commitments that were agreed upon during merger approval proceedings. Responsible for collecting, reviewing and obtaining legal counsel approval on project plans and status updates from business owners. Ensures project plan milestones and goals will be met and escalating to senior leadership any commitments at risk of not being met. Prepare compliance status report and deliver to the General Counsel and other senior executives. Serve as system administrator for Merger Commitment Tracking system.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance monitoring, policies and procedures, such as audit checklists and documentation retention programs.
  • Conduct audits to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Under minimal management direction, responsible for responding to routine and specific state and federal inquiries regarding Company business transactions. This includes managing the collection of requested data, analyzing the data, preparing responses to inquiries, and recommending policies and processes to enhance the Company’s compliance procedures and efficiency.
  • Develop, recommend and maintain the Company’s compliance information and website to ensure that information is easily accessible and up to date.
  • Stay informed of state and federal compliance regulations, and issues. Disseminate information to personnel as needed. Recommend how the Company should adjust to changing regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and ensure regulatory filings are filed timely and accurately filed, including renewal of state licensing applications and all matters related to compliance at the state and federal levels.
  • Attend meetings to educate, explain, improve and/or create new processes as required.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Must be able to effectively work across teams within the business unit.
  • Administer and track online training programs including evaluating and recommend improvements to these programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or 12 years of experience in lieu of the degree
  • 5 years experience with regulatory and compliance policies and procedures
  • Possess the ability to comprehend and analyze regulatory and compliance policies and procedures and disseminate appropriate information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Paralegal experience or experience as a corporate legal compliance specialist highly preferred
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program
  • Experience with government contracting requirements
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively and manage workload efficiently
  • Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Elevated knowledge in Excel (creating and using pivot tables, macros, and vlookups) and MS Office Suite experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing and work effectively across business units, functional groups, multiple levels of the Corporation and external stakeholders
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent priorities simultaneously; attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy; delegate tasks, ability to thrive in dynamic, communicate issues/results, fast paced environment
