We are looking for a Principal in the Services Commercial Strategy & Business Operations organization to set priorities, align resources to the biggest opportunities, spot risks before they become issues, and turn decisions into action. You will sit at the center of the Services Commercial organization, serving as the connective tissue between strategy and execution to drive velocity.

You are a mechanism-builder that works at the intersection of strategy, data analysis, and AI-enabled operations - partnering with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product to translate commercial priorities into measurable outcomes. We are looking for a strategic operator who is an avid learner, experimenter and builder.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning & execution: Scope and establish the commercial initiatives that drive growth. Own and evolve the quarterly / annual planning process to help leaders make explicit choices about priorities, investments, tradeoffs, and sequencing. Use AI-enabled tools to compress cycle time and get to decisions faster.
• Performance & data analysis: Conduct analysis of commercial channel performance, market trends, and operational metrics to inform strategic decisions and uncover opportunities. Use AI and automation to expand the scope and speed of analysis, and to automate recurring reporting to drive insights and risk management.
• Executive communication: Shape executive decisions by distilling complex analysis into clear recommendations, alternatives and tradeoffs. Communicate through succinct presentations, written narratives and AI-supported artifacts that drive clarity and alignment.
• Cross-functional initiatives: Manage commercial initiatives from conception to execution, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure alignment and effective implementation. Identify and drive mitigation strategies, prioritize and sequence work, and align cross-functional leadership to make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years in business or commercial operations, strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or corporate development, ideally in a high-growth or matrixed environment. SaaS and/or FinTech experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Experience leading multi-year strategy and planning, including annual planning, scenario development, and translating strategy into operating priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and KPI trend analysis. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or low-code and agentic tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) is a plus.
• Proven ability to run an operating system and business reviews: drive cadence, create clarity, instill accountability, and manage a portfolio of initiatives.
• Cross-functional influence without authority across product, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics; skilled at navigating competing priorities and building consensus to move at pace.
• Strong business judgment, with an intuitive grasp of how strategy, operations, financial performance, and execution connect.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication and presence: you can walk into a room with a VP and leave with a decision, and you can synthesize complexity into executive-ready narratives.
• Outcomes-driven with an extreme ownership mindset; moves naturally between long-range strategy and short-term unblock.
• Proficiency in GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM) across business workflows to scale impact.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
